Quick answers

Which DCENT wallet is best for you?

Which DCENT wallet is best for beginners?

DCENT S is the simplest start. Setup takes about 3 minutes in the DCENT app, and the included R3covery Card stores your backup, so there is nothing to write on paper. If you would rather check every transaction on a screen, choose DCENT X.

Which DCENT wallet is best for XRP?

All three support XRP, along with Bitcoin, Ethereum and 100+ networks. Choose by how you want to approve transactions: on a touchscreen (DCENT X), with an NFC tap on your phone (DCENT S), or with the classic fingerprint device (Biometric Wallet).

DCENT X vs DCENT S: what is the difference?

DCENT X is a device with a 2.4-inch AMOLED touchscreen, fingerprint or PIN approval, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB-C. DCENT S is a battery-free card: you review the transaction in the DCENT app and tap the card to sign. DCENT S comes with an R3covery Card for backup.

DCENT X vs Biometric Wallet: what is the difference?

Both let you review on the device and approve with your fingerprint. DCENT X adds a larger color touchscreen, PIN approval, USB-C and a CC EAL6+ secure chip. The Biometric Wallet is the compact original (4.3 x 7.7 x 1.1 cm, 36 g) with a CC EAL5+ secure chip and a lower price.

Which DCENT wallet costs the least?

As of October 23, 2026, DCENT S is $59, the Biometric Wallet starts at $109, and DCENT X starts at $230 (USD, DCENT Store).

Do all DCENT wallets support the same coins?

Yes. DCENT X, DCENT S and the Biometric Wallet each manage 10,000+ coins and tokens across 100+ blockchain networks, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP, through the DCENT app.

Wallet comparison FAQ

Quick answers before you choose.

Which wallet should I choose?

Choose DCENT X for a larger on-device screen, DCENT S for a battery-free card, or the Biometric Wallet for DCENT’s established fingerprint form.

Where do I review transactions?

On DCENT X or the Biometric Wallet, review on the device screen. With DCENT S, review in the DCENT app before tapping the card.

Is the R3covery Card a second signing wallet?

No. DCENT S signs transactions. The R3covery Card stores an encrypted backup of your DCENT S and is used only for recovery, not everyday signing.

How does recovery work with DCENT S?

You back up DCENT S to the R3covery Card. If you lose your DCENT S, you restore from the R3covery Card to a new DCENT device. One DCENT S can be backed up to more than one R3covery Card.

Does the Biometric Wallet work with the R3covery Card?

No. The Biometric Wallet is not compatible with the R3covery Card. It uses recovery words for backup.

Do I need to charge my wallet?

DCENT X and the Biometric Wallet have rechargeable batteries. DCENT S is a battery-free card that is powered by your phone over NFC when you tap it.

How does each wallet connect to my phone or computer?

DCENT X connects over Bluetooth 5.0 or USB-C. The Biometric Wallet connects over Bluetooth or USB. DCENT S connects to your phone with an NFC tap.

One security standard. Your way to own.

Choose the experience that fits you.
