  • Why is hardware wallet safer?


    Hardware wallet is a separate storage device that is not connected to the Internet. It fundamentally blocks and provides high security against the risk of hacking to prevent exposure of private keys and sensitive information. Adding a physically separate second factor to managing cryptocurrency is the safest way to protect your cryptocurrency assets.

  • Is the D’CENT Biometric Wallet safer than the others?


    Unlike other hardware wallets, D’CENT Biometric Wallet is built on multi-IC architecture with EAL5+ certified secure element for impenetrable security. In addition, built-in fingerprint biometric authenticator provides enhanced security for authentication and as well as convenience.

  • What is required to use the D’CENT Biometric Wallet?


    All you need is a D’CENT Biometric Wallet and your mobile phone. Please install D’CENT wallet application on your device.

  • Do I have to write down my recovery card?


    The 24 words on the recovery card are used to recover your wallet when the product is initialized or if the device is lost. If you lose your recovery seeds, your cryptocurrency assets are lost forever. When you write a word on the card, write it using a pen that cannot be changed or modified.

    [Caution] Never take a picture of your recovery seeds or save the image on the Internet..
    You are sole responsible for safe handling of your recovery seeds. D’CENT is not liable for any damage or loss of cryptocurrency resulting from lost recovery seeds, theft, or leakage of your image files to a third party. Special care is required for safe storage.

  • How much is the transaction fee for coin transactions in D’CENT?


    All coin transfers are charged with a transaction fee which gets returned to the miners as incentive for their work.
    Fee settings can be adjusted directly from the D’CENT app and we recommend that you set the fees to Standard (medium) and High (top).※ Transaction fees have the greatest impact on the success of transaction. Low fees may be slow to trade due to poor response from miners.
    ※ D’CENT does not collect any fee for the transactions.

  • What is the D’CENT quality assurance policy?


    We guarantee the quality of the product for one year from the date of purchase. However, warranty does not apply to the following:

    1) Damage or loss of product caused by acts of nature including, but not limited to, floods, storms, fires, and earthquakes
    2) Damage resulting from accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, improper handling or improper installation
    3) Damages or loss of product caused by undue physical or electrical stress, including but not limited to moisture, corrosive environments, high voltage surges, extreme temperatures, shipping or abnormal working conditions
    4) Damages caused by operator error, or non-compliance with instructions as set out in accompanying documentation.
    5) Normal wear and tear
    6) Alterations by persons other than D’CENT, associated partners or authorized service facilities
    7) Products, on which the original software has been replaced or modified by persons other than D’CENT, associated partners or authorized service facilities and counterfeit products
    8) Damages or loss of data caused by improper usage and behavior which is not recommended and/or permitted in the product documentation
    9) Failure of the product caused by usage of the products not supplied by D'CENT

  • I'd like to return it and get a refund.


    To be eligible for a refund, purchaser must initiate a product return request to contact@iotrust.kr or contact@iD'CENT.io, within 14 days of purchase. Returning product must be unused and sealed in the original package with all original materials provided in their complete condition including receipt that shows purchasing date, seller’s name as well as purchasing price.

    Refund will not be made if the product’s original packaging has been unsealed or, product tag is removed or, if the product is damaged.

    Refund amount : The price of the product the customer has paid for minus the costs associated to shipping, customs, and local taxes. Points applied at the time of purchase and discount coupons will no longer be valid.Shipping cost : The customer will pay for the cost of shipping if returning the product is due to customer’s change in mind.

  • What is the D'CENT Product Exchange Policy?

    The warranty period will remain as calculated from the date of initial purchase even if your product has been exchanged for a new product when it is found to be nonfunctional or defective within the warranty period.When requesting a product exchange, you must submit a receipt stating the date of purchase and the place of sale, together with the product serial number printed on the product. (Customer is responsible for the shipping costs)

    [Caution] In the event of a product exchange, it is the sole responsibility of the customer to manage data generated by the customer (personal keys, cryptocurrencies, etc.) and D’CENT will not be liable for loss, damage, recovery, or backup of the data.

    Matters not specified are subject to the Consumer Damage Compensation Regulations and the consumer dispute resolution standard.
